This term I have completed my first excellence task. This first activity was about me reading three different novels which were the Baby Sisters Club, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, and the Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
The first book I read was a graphic novel which I enjoyed because it was one of my favourite authors. It talked about Kristy’s life journey on how she became the daughter of Watson (stepfather).
The second novel which was the Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. It was my favourite book out of the series, talking about how the story started off and getting Harry, Ron, and Hermione in a bad situation, and knowing that they would be in a series of challenging obstacles in the story.
The third novel which was the Diary of a Wimpy Kid. It was about how Rodrick (his brother), got in trouble for having a party without his parents permission, and when his parents found out he got grounded for a month.
This activity has kept me going to read book as I sometimes get unmotivated with reading when I am bored.
