Bee Art

LI: To use nature to create a bee.

Inspired by art creations by Raku Inoue we went outside and collected leaves, twigs, and other plants debris to create our own bee images. This is called the insect art, this was inspired by art creation by Raku Inoue we went outside and collected leaves, twigs, and other plants debris to create our own bee images.

The items we found was fallen onto the ground because we are trying to be sustainable with the products we were going to use. Once we created the bee, we decided to use the leftover material and make a tree out of the branches, and used the other sticks to make the ground. We also created the word “bee” as there were still left in our basket. I enjoyed doing this activity because my group was able to be creative with the items collected from outside, and make the specific insect creatively.

Bees are vital to our survival because they pollinate our plants, which helps us make food, but if we don’t have bees to be productive in our environment we would lose different types of food that needs the plants to make food.

  1. Hi Chisa,
I found your bee art very cool and creative. I also did this activity along with Jaylee and Santana, you should check our bee art out! I can see that your bee art is unique because it shows a bee flying towards a plant. I enjoyed reading about why you think bees are vital for human survival and agree with you. What would you do to help lessen the decline in the bee population?

    Good job!
